WORK HARD - PLAY HARD !

I recently had a chance to play hooky from work for a day of Sledding here in Beautiful BC...., Of course I felt bad.... (not really) but I was travelling with one of my clients Grant Sheridan as well as a few other guys who new the area.
We experienced the best snow conditions imaginable!!.  It was one of those fantastic bluebird days that we have grown to enjoy here in the Okanagan mountains.
The point of this message is that doing something fun, exciting and healthy is a great way to re-vitalize your  working environment.  I know it is not easy to do too often but when you can manage to get away for a day and push yourself to a new level in your sport of choice.... you will be happy you did.!
My wife Linda is a motivational speaker and one thing she often asks clients in her presentations is..... when is the last time you did something for the first time..??
If you are not making new memories as often as possible your life gets a little stale.

I was fortunate enough to take up Snowmobiling and it is a great outdoor experience!

I encourage you to give it a try...  !!

Its time to get with it !

Been the typical construction type guy that I am... I must say blogging is not something that comes naturally.
We live in a new world today and more then ever it is important to think out of the box.  Edgecombe Builders has been building "boxes" for years, Places that we call home... the only difference is that the box often has 60 corners and 30 angles rather then your typical for sides, a top and a bottom.
We are blessed to live in a part of Canada that embraces the finer things in life including fabulous homes.!
Landing this type of work is more challenging in the "new economy" and we have to work harder then ever to earn the trust that is required to secure the job. 
So here we go... trying something new...  its exciting and with luck I will become a pro blogger in no time. :o)
